Thomas Tuchel has been feeling better of his obligation as the Head Coach of Chelsea Football Club. He was shown the leave following Chelsea’s 1-0 Champions League rout to Dinamo Zagreb on Tuesday night. Giving the motivation behind why Tuchel was sacked, the new proprietors of the club said they accept it is the perfect opportunity to make the change.

The full statement from the club reads;

β€œOn behalf of everyone at Chelsea FC, the Club would like to place on record its gratitude to Thomas and his staff for all their efforts during their time with the Club. Thomas will rightly have a place in Chelsea’s history after winning the Champions League, the Super Cup and Club World Cup in his time here.

β€œAs the new ownership group reaches 100 days since taking over the Club, and as it continues its hard work to take the club forward, the new owners believe it is the right time to make this transition.

β€œChelsea’s coaching staff will take charge of the team for training and the preparation of our upcoming matches as the Club moves swiftly to appoint a new head coach.

β€œThere will be no further comment until a new head coach appointment is made.”

Thomas Tuchel

Tuchel, 49, succeeded Frank Lampard in January 2021 and directed the Blues to Champions League brilliance later that season prior to winning the European Super Cup and Club World Cup last term.

In any case, his time in control was stopped following an impassive beginning to this new mission.

Chelsea could take 10 focuses from six Premier League games and lost against Zagreb in spite of expenditure over Β£200million on any semblance of Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly, Marc Cucurella, and Wesley Fofana in the late spring (Chelsea spent more cash on moves this mid year than any club in Europe yet lose 1-0 to Dinamo Zagreb).
