A 19-year-old girl, Fatima Ibrahim says she went out to see a friend and while on her way she met one Mr. Ahmed Muktar who promised to take her to her friend’s house but later abducted her there in Nasarawa State.
The victim explained “He took me to a place where I stayed for 21 days. He and some other guys had sex with me severally before he returned me back to Lafia.”
On Tuesday, the Nasarawa State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps says it has arrested Mr. Ahmed Muktar and two other suspects over the alleged abduction and rape led.
Public Relations Officer of the command, Jerry Victor said, “Today, we are parading three suspects in connection with the case of abduction, molestation and rape. A complainant came to our office concerning the case which has to do with his daughter. The incident which concerns a driver named Ahmed Muktar and his cronies happened around Nyanya-Mararaba in Karu Local Government Area.
“One of the suspects is still on the run but we are doing our best to get him arrested after which all the suspects will be charged to court for prosecution.”
The victim, Fatima said, “she went out to see a friend and while on her way she met Murkar who promised to take her to her friend’s house but later abducted her.
“On my way going to my friend’s house, Muktar stopped me and convinced me that he would drop me off at my friend’s place. I entered his Sharon vehicle then after a few minutes, I slept off only to find myself in an unknown location.
“He took me to a place where I stayed for 21 days. He and some other guys had sex with me severally before he returned me back to Lafia,” she added.
The girl’s father, Alhaji Ibrahim thanked the NSCDC for arresting the suspects and said he was going to do everything within his powers to ensure that they face the wrath of the law for the damage they had done to his daughter.
Meanwhile the alleged, Ahmed Muktar said Fatima was his girlfriend, and denied abducting her but however acknowledged having sex with her.
He said. “As a driver, I only helped her by giving her a lift. I admit sleeping with her but it was only once. She is my girlfriend and I didn’t abduct her.”
