Nigerian music icon 2Baba has reportedly taken a bold new step in his personal life by proposing to Hon. Natasha Osawaru, Deputy Majority Leader of the Edo State House of Assembly and granddaughter of Chief Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion.
According to circulating reports, Natasha accepted his proposal, with unconfirmed rumors suggesting she may also be pregnant, while allegations persist that his estranged wife, Annie, remains hospitalized.
The announcement comes barely two weeks after 2Baba publicly confirmed his separation from Annie, sparking a firestorm of reactions on social media. Many netizens expressed disappointment over the rapid transition from separation to a new marriage plan, questioning whether 2Baba has adequately addressed the lingering issues of his previous relationship.
One Twitter user remarked, “Tuface don fall him hand big time,” reflecting the mixed sentiment among his fans some labeling him a narcissist and manipulator, while others insist that his personal choices are his own to make.

His relationship with Annie began as a friendship in 1999 and evolved into a romance that saw Annie rise to fame after her appearance in the iconic “African Queen” music video in 2004. The couple went on to welcome their first daughter, Isabella, in 2008, followed by a private proposal and wedding in 2012, a lavish white wedding in Dubai in 2013, and the birth of their second daughter, Olivia, in 2014.
