3 INEC EMPLOYEES ARE ABDUCTED IN TARABA BY UNKNOWN GUNMEN.

In the Donga local government area of Taraba State, three ad hoc employees of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have been kidnapped by unidentified gunmen.

On the Saturday night hours of the 2023 Presidential and National Assembly elections, they were abducted.

The INEC Electoral Officer of Donga Local Government Area reported the event to the Coordinator of Election Operations Support Center (EOSC), INEC Headquarters in the State, who confirmed the kidnapping.

Police Public Relations Officer (PPRP), SP Usman Abdullahi, stated that the Command had not yet received a report on the event when reached by phone.
