At the Lagos House in Alausa, Ikeja, the governors of the six South-West states have convened for a crucial meeting with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
All of the governors were present when the meeting began on Monday at noon.
The important meeting is being attended by the governors of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, Ondo State, Luky Aiyedatiwa, and Ekiti, Abiodun Oyebanji.
The primary goal of the gathering was unknown at the time of publication.
It is hypothesized, therefore, that it has to do with the current negotiations between the Federal Government and the organized labor union over the Minimum Wage, in addition to resolving regional security issues and other urgent state issues.
It is expected that State House Correspondents members will be briefed after the private meeting.
