Seyi Tinubu has told businessman Isaac Fayose to “behave himself” after he criticised the Port Harcourt City Boy walk, a gathering organised by supporters of President Bola Tinubu.

Seyi, son of President Tinubu, reacted in a post on his Instagram handle on Sunday. He described the Port Harcourt City Boy walk as a peaceful gathering of young Nigerians showing support for the president.

He also questioned Fayose’s decision to criticise the event and warned him against seeking attention by using the president’s name.

Fayose, younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, had earlier mocked the Port Harcourt City Boy walk.

He questioned the number of people who attended the gathering and challenged its purpose. He also described the exercise as a waste of time.

However, Seyi defended the organisers and participants. He said the youths had the right to express their political support through walking, singing and other peaceful activities. He urged Fayose to respect their decision to come out in Port Harcourt and show support for the Tinubu administration.

Seyi further argued that people who disagreed with the gathering should stay away rather than criticise those participating in it.

The exchange has drawn attention to the Port Harcourt City Boy walk and the reactions it has generated among supporters and critics of the president.
