A group of protesters led by the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) on Wednesday barricaded the residence of the Labour minister, Dr. Chris Ngige, in Asokoro area of the Federal Capital City, Abuja. A group of protesters led by the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) on Wednesday morning barricaded the residence of the Labour minister, Dr. Chris Ngige, in Asokoro area of the Federal Capital City, Abuja. The protesters who stormed the residence as early as 5am on Wednesday said they took the action against the minister for adamantly refusing to inaugurate the NSITF Board with Kokori as the chairman of the board. Our reporter observed that some security personnel were seen throwing stones at the workers who were protesting at the minister’s residence.
