Man Utd reach final decision on signing Fernandes with Lukaku set to join new club

Manchester UnitedManchester United may have decided not to sign Sporting Lisbon’s top midfielder, Bruno Fernandes, this summer.

The Premier League giants could also sell Striker Romelu Lukaku without signing in a replacement for the Belgium international at Old Trafford.

This claim was made by respected football expert, Simon Stone, who works for BBC Sport.

Stone disclosed this in a tweet on his official Twitter page on Sunday.

He wrote: “United could sell Lukaku without bringing in a replacement.

“They are still looking at transfer options but not at Bruno Fernandes, who is not on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s list.”
