FG Set To Establish 6 Medical Rehabilitation Centres

The Federal Government is said to be planning on the establishment of medical rehabilitation centres across the geo political zones of the country.

This was made known by the Registrar, Medical Rehabilitation Therapist Registration Board of Nigeria, Mrs Akanle Olufunke during the international conference of medical rehabilitation professionals in Abuja.

She disclosed that experts are still working on the framework of the centres to achieve set objectives.

Akanle added that there were still aspects of medical rehabilitation that Nigeria is yet to achieve, adding that persons living with disabilities in the country were in dire need of those aspects.
