The Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Tukur Buratai, on Sunday night warned members of the Special Forces deployed in Katsina State by the Nigerian Army to tackle banditry and that they should not associate themselves with people with negative tendencies.
He said that the special forces do not have any excuses to fail in the fight against banditry.
He also warned them that their loyalty was to the Federal Republic and President Muhammadu Buhari, adding that they should not associate with people who have negative tendencies.
The army chief gave the warning in Batsari on Sunday night during a special dinner he had with members of the Special Forces.
Buratai who arrived at the site where members of the Special Forces were being camped some few minutes to 9 pm on Sunday revealed that more men and ammunitions were being deployed in Katsina State to speed up the current operation against bandits.
