FG Begins Construction Of Lagos-Kano Railway

The Federal Government on Wednesday commenced construction work on the Kano-Kaduna section of the Lagos to Kano rail line.

According to the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaech workers were deployed to site to begin construction on the multi-billion naira rail project on Wednesday.

Amaechi, who disclosed this in a tweet via his verified Twitter handle, also posted pictures of contractors and trucks on the project site.

The minister said, “On site, contractors move in for the commencement of the Kano-Kaduna section of the Lagos-Kano rail line.”
