#ENDSARSMEMORIALPROTEST: COMEDIAN DEBO ADEBAYO, BEMOANED OVER SUFFERINGS IN THE COUNTRY

On Wednesday, Comedian Debo Adebayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni has decried on the citizens sufferings despites the nation’s leaders skyrocketing wealth.

The aggrieved protester, Adebayo cried on in a live video on instagram, during the #EndSARSMemorial, car procession at the lekki toll gate, in Lagos state.

According to him, Nigeria is a blessed nation and should be enjoyed by many, he noted that corruptions have prevented many citizens from enjoying, how blessed Nigeria is.

In his words : Government will see something and not do it, because there’s corruption in the land, so we are all in this together, Nigeria is not sweet for only one person or for a group of people, Nigeria is sweet for all Nigerians, it’s sweet for the plumber, carpenter, bricklayer, doctor, lawyer, teacher, anybody. But if there’s an enabling environment, things will be better for all of us in the country.

“So we all must come together, it’s not fight, no b war, God has bless this country so much. Everything is peaceful in Nigeria, its leadership disaster we have, we all must come together in one voice, irrespective of the tribe.

“Let’s get the PVC’s then come out in numbers to vote and protect our vote, let try that for a change.

In pidigin the celebrity bemoaned, “People they suffa, I dey waka fo street, I not fit take ham but why be sey our leaders they live lavish, they pack plenty moni, dey carry bulletproof cars, what of the average Nigerians?

Adebayo, further advised that the government should listen to the plights of the people, instead of suppressing their voices.

“The government has no business carrying guns, weapons and trying to oppress us. You have to listen, that’s the only way.”
