The Rivers police order says its agents saved 15 youngsters who were kept in the place of a supposed kid dealer recognized as Maureen Wechinwu, who professed to be a reverend sister.
Friday Eboka, Rivers magistrate of police, unveiled this on Tuesday during the procession of wrongdoing suspects in Port Harcourt, state capital.
The chief said the protected youngsters were stole inside and outside the state.
Eboka said the order has reached guardians of a portion of the kids to distinguish them while endeavors are being made to find the guardians of others.
“On third September 2022, activity reestablish harmony staff of the order, following up on valid data with respect to safe-house of kid dealers, raged Omuigwe Abuja Phase II, Aluu, in Ikwerre LGA, where a woman who professed to be Rev. Sister Maureen Wechinwu ‘f’ matured 44yrs was captured,” the chief said.

“Fifteen kids were safeguarded, case moved to CP checking unit for discrete examination.
“One of the protected youngsters — Prosper Godwin (m) — was stole at Ikpazasia market in Bayelsa State on 31/10/2021 and was taken to the suspects.
“Afterward, he was offered to a lady at Lagos and in this manner got once again to the suspect. The guardians — Mr. and Mrs. Godwin Ododor — have been reached and they substantiated the articulation of the kid.
“Sovereign Harry was kidnapped at Ojukwu recorded Mile 1, Diobu, Port Harcourt at around 1900hrs, while on a task for the senior sister. The mother — Mrs. Florence — has been reached and she supported current realities.
“We are yet to find the guardians of the excess 10 youngsters for distinguishing proof. Examination is continuous with the perspective on capturing different suspects connected for the situation.”
The magistrate likewise said the order captured one Obinna Dike, a driver of an e-hailing vehicle, who purportedly well versed in ransacking his travelers at gunpoint.
