On Wednesday, Igbo women gathered in Owerri, the state capital of Imo, for a rally in support of the APC’s presidential candidate.

Women who had congregated at the Ndubuisi Kanu stadium marched through some of the city’s streets, causing traffic jams in some areas.

The women displayed some banners with words of support for the APC’s presidential candidate while donning various APC emblems.

They claimed Tinubu was more qualified and ready to serve as president in 2023.

The city’s afternoon downpour did not stop the women from marching in favor of the former governor of Lagos State’s presidential campaign.

Igbo ladies were in the state, according to the governor’s wife Chioma Uzodinma, to show their support for Tinubu.

According to her, the women were confident that Tinubu and all of the APC candidates would win at all levels of the race.
