The United States of America has unveiled its 26-man roster for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, which will begin on November 20, 2022, in Qatar.
The USA finished third in the CONCACAF Third Round of Qualification, winning seven out of the 14 games it played, drawing four, and losing three. This earned them a spot in Qatar 2022.
Ricardo Pepi, an attacker for FC Groningen who has five goals in his last seven games, and Middlesbrough goalkeeper Zack Steffen were two notable omissions. Both players were anticipated to compete with Turner for the starting position.
With an average age of 25 years, 175 days, this is the second-youngest men’s team the United States has ever sent to a World Cup.
It will begin its Qatar 2022 campaign on November 22 against Wales after being placed in Group B with England, Wales, and Iran.
