Man in Delta State was detained after he allegedly killed his wife over a quarrel.

Police officers in Delta State have detained a middle-aged man named David Olori for allegedly killing his wife, Oghogho Olori, 42, in Ozoro.

On Friday, November 11, 2022, DSP Bright Edafe, the command’s spokesperson, announced the arrest in a statement. Police responded to a distress call made by the victim’s younger brother, who had discovered her dead in their flat, he claimed.

The victim’s brother went to the apartment because he hadn’t heard from her in a while but found that it was locked and that a foul smell was coming from it. The body had been mutilated, and the victim’s husband was nowhere to be located, police detectives who had broken into the apartment found.

Bright stated that the victim’s husband came forward at the police station on November 3 and confessed to the crime, saying that he had murdered her due to a quarrel.
