According to former Senate President Bukola Saraki, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will perform poorly in the general election of 2023 regardless of the internal crises that the party is currently experiencing.
In an interview with the media that followed the 10th memorial anniversary prayer for his late father, Dr. Abubakar Olusola Saraki, in Ilorin, Kwara State on Monday, Saraki made this statement.
Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s close ally, Senator Bukola Saraki, predicted that the PDP presidential candidate would soon settle his issues with the G-5 governors, who are led by Nyesom Wike of Rivers State.
He declared that the PDP’s top brass would cooperate to ensure the party’s success in the upcoming elections.
The All Progressives Congress (APC), which is currently in power, was criticized by the former Senate President for its “poor on the streets” policies.
“We’ll astound Nigerians. Together, we will work to improve Nigeria’s situation. This is so that we may all consider what is best for this nation. Take a look at the destitution on the street. Take a look at how poorly governance has performed.
Because Nigerians want the PDP to retake power, we will prioritize serving them. We will settle the minor differences between Governor Wike and Alhaji Abubakar, and ultimately, whether Wike or anyone else, all of us in the PDP want a better Nigeria, Saraki added.
