PDP crisis: Wike says Ayu can’t run the Rivers campaign

Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State, has stated that Dr. Iyorcha Ayu, the PDP’s national chairman, cannot organize the state’s campaign for the 2023 elections.

At the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt on Saturday, Wike addressed the crowd as the PDP’s governorship candidate for the year 2022, Sim Fubara, was introduced.

The governor claimed that the injustice being done to Rivers State hurts the state’s residents.

“I’ll say it again: Ayu is extremely corrupt. A corrupt person cannot represent myself or my state in government, according to Wike.
