Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) nominee for president, met separately on Thursday with Anambra State’s governor Charles Soludo and other traditional leaders.
The courtesy call on Soludo, according to Atiku, who was in the region for a campaign rally, demonstrated his admiration for the governor of Anambra’s dedication to development politics.
The PDP flagbearer posted pictures of the visit to Facebook along with the following statement: “I paid a courtesy call at the Anambra Government House, and I am most thrilled by the warm and brotherly treatment afforded my team and I by Governor Charles Soludo.
“I respect his fervor for political progress. It’s encouraging to see that we both have a dedication to advancing good governance in order to improve the situation of the common people.
