Foluke Abosede Ntukdem, former Miss Nigeria, died quietly in her sleep in her Lagos home.
According to the family, she died on Monday, December 19, 2022.
She was 75 years old.
The deceased represented Western State in the beauty pageant and was crowned Miss Nigeria in 1968.
She also represented Nigeria at the 18th Miss World pageant, held in London in November 1968, and won by Miss Australia Penny Plummer.
Mfon, the late beauty queen’s son, confirmed to our correspondent on Thursday that his mother died in her sleep.
“My mother, Mrs Foluke Abosede Ntukidem (neeOgundipe), died on Monday, December 19th, at the age of 75. She was Miss Nigeria in 1968. “We are finalizing arrangements and picking photographs, which we will post once completed,” he explained.
