THE LABOUR PARTY APPLAUDS CLARK’S SUPPORT OF OBI-DATTI.

The Labour Party’s Presidential Campaign Council has applauded the decision of Nigerian statesman and top Ijaw leader Chief Edwin Clark.

Dr. Yunusa Tanko, Chief Spokesman for the LP PCC, stated this.

He stated that the LP campaign was pleased that leaders were speaking out for a more united Nigeria free of sentiments.

“We welcome this support as we welcomed that of our former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo,” Yunusa remarked.

“What our great leader Chief Edwin K. Clark said is consistent with the growing belief among politicians as well as the bulk of Nigerians that we have a wonderful opportunity to save Nigeria and set it on the pathofgrowth.

“This endorsement like the one before it indicates clearly that Nigerians young and old are persuaded that our candidate, Mr. Peter Obi and his running mate, Dr. Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed have the competence and track record of performance to put Nigeria where it rightly belongs in the comity of nations.

“The two posses the track record, determination and enthusiasm to fight the beast that has dragged this enormous nation down for decades.

“We look forward to more endorsements, just as we anticipate the ultimate endorsement of Nigerians in February.”
