The Living Faith Church’s Bishop David Oyedepo has urged young people in Nigeria to stay in the nation so that it can regain its former glory. In an interview he gave to the News Agency of Nigeria on Saturday in Ota, Ogun, he said that everyone needed to remain in Nigeria to help fix the nation.
Since education is the cornerstone of long-term national development for any country, there is a need for increased investment in it, according to Oyedepo. The chancellor noted that due to inadequate investments in human capital through education, the country had lost its sense of self.
Therefore, he urged the Federal Government to reduce youth travel abroad in order to foster an environment that allows youths to thrive.
“We all need to stay in Nigeria to rebuild and restore the lost esteem of the country,” he concluded.
