Police in Cameroon have arrested a young woman in connection with the death of her newborn baby.
According to reports, the yet-to-be-identified lady gave her child tramadol in an attempt to put the child to sleep while she went clubbing with her friends.
According to reports, the unfortunate incident occurred in Tiko’s Likomba area.
“This happened last night in Likomba, Tiko,” said an eyewitness who shared the news online. This lady had a baby a few months ago and wanted to go clubbing with friends.
She decided to give him tramadol to make him sleep because she couldn’t take him to the club. She eventually locked him in the house and went to the club.
However, when she returned home this morning, she discovered that the baby had died as a result of the hard drug she had given him.
She was later arrested by police while the baby was being buried.”
