AFTER BEING CAUGHT STEALING N200K FROM A LAGOS STORE, LADY SAYS, “I AM HUNGRY.”

Police in Lagos State have arrested a young lady for allegedly stealing N200,000 from a provision store in the state’s Iyana Ipaja area.

The lady was said to have sneaked into the store on Wednesday morning, January 25, grabbed the money, and hid it in her underwear.

“She crept into the store as soon as the owner left. She wore a hijab and pretended to want to buy something. She took the money and stuffed it into her underwear.

Unfortunately for her, the owner went to the next store to get something, and just as the lady was about to leave, the owner came in.

“I believe the owner saw her stuffing money into her underwear and immediately apprehended her,” a source said.

The lady, who was later arrested by the store owner, claimed she stole the money because she was hungry.
