SECURITY GUARDS IN ONDO WERE GIVEN A DEATH BY HANGING SENTENCE FOR THE MURDER OF THEIR 71-YEAR-OLD BOSS AND HIS DAUGHTER.

2 security guards, Ayuba Idris & Tasur Abubakar have been sentenced to death by hanging for the 2019 murder of their boss, Kwakye Kwaku Richard, 71 & his daughter, Kwakye Tope, 27, in Akure, Ondo State.

On February 14, the Ondo State High Court in Akure found the pair guilty of the charges brought against them and handed down a death sentence. Additionally, they received a 7-year prison term for conspiracy.

Recall that on May 1, 2019, at Ojomo Akintan Estate, Olufoam in Akure, the two men killed the father and daughter in their home.

The two, who were the deceased’s security guards, admitted to strangling the father and daughter to death while high on tramadol and other deadly narcotics. They claimed to have killed them with motorcycle cables.
