Grace Usman and Victor were two of the eight Madonna University, Elele, Rivers State students who perished in the tragic disaster.
The sad event is believed to have occurred on February 18, 2023, a Saturday. According to reports, after being instructed to return home in advance of the 2023 General Elections, the students were on their way to Taraba State.
According to a source, the collision occurred at the precise TTC/Special Science School intersection on the trans-Saharan road in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State. The bus caught fire and was completely destroyed. Only 10 kids, however, made it out alive and were taken to the Alex Ekwueme Teaching Hospital in Ebonyi State.
