Mrs. Oluchi Oparah, national treasurer of the opposition Labour Party (LP), urged voters seeking a better and larger Nigeria to support Mr. Peter Obi, the party’s presidential candidate, on election day this coming Saturday. She described Mr. Obi as the ideal candidate with strong credentials, a tried and trusted individual, and someone who is in every way qualified to be the next leader of the nation.

In a release made accessible to newsmen, Ophara made this statement and said that Obi, the LP Presidential Candidate, had a history of solid government and is without any blemishes, thus he should be supported.

The party leader confirmed that the Labour party was ready for elections, stating that the party’s tremendous support from Nigerians as a whole ensured the party’s success. She also promised that the redesign of the naira would not have any bearing on the election.

Ophara, who has previously urged voters to choose candidates who are qualified in all relevant ways, claimed that the LP, its candidate, Obi, and his running mate, Senator Ahmed Baba Datti, had traveled to all 36 states, including the Federal Capital Territory, to campaign and appeal to voters’ consciences.

This occurred at the same time when Ophara, who vehemently denounced the string of attacks on party members that in some cases resulted in fatalities, revealed that the LP had informed the electorate about the party’s logo, which is Papa, Mama, and Pikin’, in many languages.

“Let’s all vote for a person who has a good history and has Nigerians’ best interests at heart. Excellent people who can stand out with spotless records wherever in the world and who will help us become a giant of Africa once more. Let’s elect leaders who can save Nigeria from being a failed state. Before casting our votes, let’s have a look at each candidate’s background.

On February 1, the first lady posted an excerpt from an interview Governor Nasir El-Rufai gave to Channels Television in which he claimed that the contentious policy was the result of members of President Muhammadu Buhari’s cabal plotting to undermine the ruling party in the 2019 elections.

Mrs. Buhari’s well-known accusation that members of the president’s cabal had taken over the administration during her husband’s first term in power was mirrored by Mr. El-assertion. Rufai’s

The Central Bank of Nigeria introduced the redesigned N200, N500, and N1,000 notes in the fourth quarter of 2022. There hasn’t been much debate over the policy’s suitability, but its implementation has given rise to increasing unease in the West African country.

Since he successfully implemented change in Anambra State and will do it again, Peter Obi is the only one who can do so. Attacks are occurring here and there against our followers across Nigeria. Our female leader in Kaduna was occasionally assassinated last year.

“In Imo State, one of our State Assembly members was also murdered. Others are being maliciously attacked. Our Okigwe candidate for the state assembly’s home and automobiles were burned down just last week.

There have been additional attacks in several states. We were also attacked over the weekend in Lagos States! I fail to understand why someone should be vilified for wanting to back their preferred candidate. Why attack others if your candidate is marketable?

“I consider each of these assaults to be an attempt to intimidate or frighten individuals. We are unstoppable, and no amount of attack will be able to halt God’s movement, I want to make that obvious today. “Peter Obi and the Labour Party are a tremendous movement with genuine supporters all around the world,” she said.
