Award-winning Afrobeats superstar Fireboy has hinted at a potential 2023 debut song.

On Monday, Fireboy shared a preview for a prospective new release on his Twitter page.

The musician shared a video of himself singing along to a song that incorporates parts of Afropop and electronic dance music.

Fans who were eagerly awaiting the song expressed their delight at the singer’s sneak preview.

After the release of his critically praised debut album “Laughter, Tears, and Goosebumps” in 2020, Fireboy became one of the best Afrobeats artists.

With the help of his hit song “Peru,” which was remixed by Ed Sheeran, entered the Billboard Top 100, and earned a platinum RIAA certification, he achieved worldwide renown. In addition, when he performed alongside Ed Sheeran at the BET Awards and at Wembley Stadium, he made history as the first African singer to do so.

When his album “Playboy” failed to reach the heights of his previous two albums, Fireboy would be expecting to start 2023 on a strong note.
