Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s win was not, according to Labour Party, LP presidential candidate Peter Obi, the will of God for Nigerians.

This claim was made by Obi on Monday during the Morning Show segment of Arise Television.

He claimed that the Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC, was tasked with carrying out a credible, free, and fair election in accordance with God’s will.

They are truly lecturing about Nigeria’s problems, Obi remarked. Accepting misbehavior and improper behavior is Nigeria’s challenge.

“It is an insult to God’s name. God isn’t saying that, though. Don’t misuse my name, God commanded.

Hence, what they are asserting is not God’s wish or purpose for Nigeria.

“Pastors are preaching about Nigeria’s problems, but that is not what God wants for Nigeria. Is our lack of electricity and high mortality rate God’s will?

“We have clear regulations regarding how the election should be conducted; it is not God’s will that we act improperly. We want God’s will to be carried out as intended.

Is it God’s will that we steal votes or hold invalid elections?

Recall that Tinubu’s victory in the February 25 presidential election was referred to as the will of God by Nigeria’s First Lady, Aisha Buhari.

We should all embrace it as the will of the Almighty God since we couldn’t have done it without his favor, she continued, regardless of our varied interests.
