The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Ahmed Aliyu has been proclaimed the victor of the Sokoto State governorship election that took place on March 18th.
On March 19, Sunday, the State Collation Officer, Bichi Amaya’u, said this.
Aliyu, according to Amaya’u, received 453,661 votes overall to defeat Saidu Umar of the PDP, who received 404,632 votes overall.
