20-YEAR-OLD BOY DETAINED IN KANO AFTER REPORTEDLY KILLING HIS OLDER BROTHERWHILE HE WAS WEARING HIS SHIRT AND PANTS.

A 20-year-old man named Halifa Hamza has been detained by the Kano State Police Command on suspicion of fatally stabbing his older brother, Usman Hamza, with a pair of scissors in the Kurna community of the state’s Dala LGA.

The brothers reportedly got into a fight over the shirt and pants on Sunday, April 2, 2023, according to DailyTrust.

In a Freedom Radio interview, their father, Alhaji Hamza, confirmed the aforementioned news, saying: “The oldest brother who was k (Usman) collected my motorcycle to go and inform his buddies that we had organized Iftar for everyone so that they might come and eat.

As he got back, he spotted his younger brother with his shirt and trousers. He then inquired why he did that, and from there a battle erupted.

The older brother was fatally stabbed in his chest as soon as the younger one entered the house with a pair of scissors.
