The second term and Ramadan break will start tomorrow for all day and boarding public/private primary and post-primary institutions in Kano State, according to the state’s ministry of education.
Thus, parents/guardians of schoolchildren and boarding school students are required to transport their wards home by this morning.
According to this, day students must return to their respective schools on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, while all boarding school students and kids must return on Sunday, April 30, 2023.
Ya’u Abdullahi Yan’shana, the commissioner for education, advised parents/guardians of students and students of the schools to maintain compliance with the approved resuming dates while also thanking them for their cooperation and support of the ministry.
The commissioner also wished the students and students a happy and trouble-free holiday and wished them a blessed Ramadan. Yet, he issued a warning that defaulting students will face disciplinary punishment.
