Tajudeen Abbas and Ben Kalu, who are running for Speaker and Deputy Speaker positions, are meeting with President Bola Tinubu.
The meeting came just after the one the President had at the Villa with Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila and Senate President Ahmad Lawan.
This is Tinubu’s first encounter with both groups since taking the oath of office.
It was assumed that the President and Lawan and Gbajabiamila may have spoken about the upcoming 10th National Assembly’s inauguration on June 13 and the election of National Assembly leaders during their meeting.
The All Progressive Congress (APC), which is in power, has approved Abbas and Kalu for the positions.
