I’M WILLING TO TESTIFY AGAINST THE PDP IN THE EBONYI GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION IN 2023 – PDP STAKEHOLDER

Prince Maurice Nnanna Mbam, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Izzi Nnodo Youth Forum, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Stakeholder in Ebonyi State, stated on Monday that his Party, the PDP, did not win the previous 2023 Governorship poll in the State.

The PDP Chieftain, who stated that he was willing to come before the tribunal in Abuja to prove his position, also stated that Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State remains the election winner.

Briefing reporters in Abakaliki, Mbam urged opposition political parties to allow the State Governor to perform his job and to quit selling smear campaigns against him (Nwifuru).

“The Governor has made new appointments, and the State has moved on.” The opposition should step back and let the Governor do his job. He knew the workings and issues of the State as a Speaker for 8 years.

“The Governor remains the first to appoint the State’s first female SSG.” The selection of 35 Commissioners was balanced because all 13 Local Government Areas were represented in the Governor’s cabinet. Governance is a full-time job. Nobody will ever be Commissioner. He’s off to a good start.

“We should give this young man a chance to show us what he’s capable of.” He has taken a number of preventative actions. One of these was the release of the wife of an INEC staff member who had been kidnapped by hoodlums two weeks ago.

“I want to rally the sons and daughters of Izzi land behind him.” What we owe him is our undivided attention. The Governor is paying attention. It is not a rumor that I will be joining the APC family soon. We are prepared to testify that the PDP did not win the poll. We are aware that the case is before the tribunal.”
