PRESIDENT TINUBU TRAVELS TO BENIN REPUBLIC TO COMMEMORATE IT’S 63RD ANNIVERSARY OF INDEPENDENCE.

Today, Tuesday, August 1, 2023, President Bola Tinubu accepts an invitation to visit the Republic of Benin’s 63rd independence celebration.

The president, who is also the chairman of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States, will be the Special Guest of President Patrice Talon at the ceremony, according to a statement by presidential spokesman Dele Alake.

He stated that President Tinubu first met with Talon on the sidelines of the New Global Financing Pact summit in Paris, France, then at the 63rd Ordinary session of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of ECOWAS in Guinea-Bissau, and most recently at the State House in Abuja with leaders of three other West African nations, where the Benin Republic President invited him to the anniversary.
