A 400-LEVEL UI STUDENT IS APPOINTED TO PRESIDENT TINUBU’S TAX REFORM COMMISSION.

Orire Agbaje, a University of Ibadan (UI) student studying economics at the 400 level, has been chosen by President Bola Tinubu to the presidential committee on fiscal policy and tax changes.

Agbaje is reportedly the head of both the Nigerian Universities Tax Club and The Tax Club at the University of Ibadan.

On Tuesday, August 8, Tinubu launched the group, which consists of professionals from the public and private sectors.

The committee is in charge of several facets of tax law modifications, the creation and coordination of fiscal policy, the harmonization of taxes, and revenue management.
