Tunji Wusu –
The landlord of the two-story building that collapsed at Lagos Crescent, which is located in Garki 2 of Abuja, has been ordered to be immediately arrested by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike.
On Thursday, August 24, Wike issued the directive while assessing the coll@psed building on the scene.
“It’s not as if someone has a personal grudge, but I think it’s important for us to act morally. I don’t know why it has taken the FCTA so long to relocate them, so we’ll take quick action to make sure that happens. After that, the government must plan out this location before relocating the locals.
Take this building plan, the government orders, not to help anyone but to ensure that everyone is safe. Cities are designed to prevent situations like these. Visualize a structure that isn’t approved. I’ll ask that the owner of this property be located and detained. It is really crucial.
