Ebunoluwarotimi Adelesi, the Kwara State Police Commissioner, has declared Salam Ayodeji wanted for allegedly threatening Isese devotees in Ilorin, Kwara State.
On Sunday, Punch Online said that Ayodeji attacked the business of a female Isese devotee in Ilorin, not only to intimidate her but also to threaten her with wrath if she did not leave town in eight days.
Ayodeji was heard accosting the lady in the video published on X on Sunday, asking if women sell electronics before issuing her an eight-day ultimatum to leave the premises where she did business.
“Do women sell electronics?” he asked in Yoruba. Ayodeji inquired, to which his companions replied, “We have never heard of such.”
“We have told you what we want; leave the town,” the cleric added. We don’t let Isese people live in our community.”
In his outburst on Sunday, the Muslim cleric also claimed to have the support of the police commissioner.
Adelesi requested Ayodeji’s family to deliver the suspect by Wednesday for the alleged crimes of terrorism and slander against the police in a meeting on Monday.
The police chief also chastised the family for “their son’s inadequate training.”

The commissioner, who also spoke with the Alaran family, Isese devotees who were evicted due to Ayodeji’s threats, chastised them for caving in to the suspect.
In response to the police commissioner, Ayodeji stated that they had attempted in vain to locate their son, whose phone line had been inaccessible for several days.
Tajudeen, the Isese lady’s husband, who was intimidated and threatened by Ayodeji and his cronies, stated the suspect’s family had sought for his forgiveness, which he had granted.
