Rotimi Oyedepo, a senior prosecutor for the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), and six additional people have been named as new aides by Nigerian President Bola Tinubu.

The Federal Ministry of Justice in Abuja is now home to the newly appointed personnel.

They are intended to work under Lateef Fagbemi, Minister of Justice, and Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF).

Among the newly appointed are:

1. Kamarudeen Ogundele, the President’s Special Assistant for Publicity and Communication

2. Special Assistant Hussein Oloyede for Drafting, Arbitration, and Regulations

3. Special Assistant on Financial Crimes and Public Prosecution Compliance, Rotimi Oyedepo (SAN).

3. Monsurat Gafar, Special Assistant for Intergovernmental Agency Relations and Coordination

4. Marcus-Obiene Fernández, Special Assistant for ICT/Digital and Innovative Technology and Justice Sector Reforms

5. Special Assistant Ahmed Wada on Special Assignments

6. Tolu Obamuroh, a technical advisor on international disputes, arbitration, and oil and gas.

The seventh appointee’s identity is reportedly being kept a secret because of concerns that making his identify and the nature of his mission public could put him in danger, according to Premium Times.
