The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) members and chairman were appointed by the Senate on Tuesday.
The members of the committee are Dr. Dauda Jalo, Edet Eyoma, Chamberlain Nwele, Rufus Godwins, and Dr. Adamu Hussein, with Professor Tunji Olaopa serving as Chairman.

Aminu Nabegu, Hindatu Abdullahi, Shehu Aliyu, Odekunle Rukiyat, Princess Sarah Adebisi, and Dr. Festus Oyebade are among the other members of the commission that the Senate has confirmed.

After confirmation, the new FCSC leadership is anticipated to start working on November 30, 2023, after the current leadership’s term ends on November 29, 2023.

Remember that on October 27, 2023, President Bola Tinubu selected the new FCSC leadership?

The appointment was verified by presidential spokesperson Ajuri Ngelale in a statement on Friday.

The statement claims that President Tinubu also named commissioners with representation from different regions.

Senate confirmation is required before the new FCSC leaders can be appointed.
