Babatunji Wusu –

Passengers’ usage of the well-known “Ghana Must Go” bags in Nigerian airports is apparently prohibited by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).

In a November 24 circular signed by Henok Gizachew, Manager, Airport Services, and captioned “Re: Prohibition of Usage of Ghana Must Go,” FAAN states that travelers using the nation’s international airports are specifically exempt from the restriction.

Gizachew claimed that the bag had caused the airlines to suffer significant losses and had damaged the airport’s conveyor belt equipment, which is why the authorities had prohibited it.

According to him, travelers who want to use Ghana Must Go must have the same well-packaged, rectangular hardcover or box.
