TINUBU LEAVES ABUJA IN ROUTE TO MAIDUGURI.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has left Abuja and arrived in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno state.
On Monday at around 10:35 a.m., the president took off from the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.

For the first time since taking office, President Tinubu is traveling to the country’s northeast to attend the Nigerian Army Annual Conference as the Special Guest of Honor.

According to a statement from Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu, the Director of Army Public Relations, an address to the troops of Joint Task Force North East Operation HADIN KAI will be made during the Opening Ceremony.

In addition, the Special Guest of Honor will lay the cornerstone of Headquarters 7 Division and inspect the ongoing Nigerian Army Reference Hospital in Maiduguri.
