According to DailyTrust, the EFCC has allocated N1,055,633,61 billion for local travel.

The report’s study of the 2024 budget reveals that the commission allocated N113.4 million for training related to local travel, N389.6 million for transportation related to overseas training, and N173.6 million for “international travel & transport, others.”

Subsequent investigation revealed that the agency will fuel the commission cars with N164.3 million while spending N413 million on new automobiles. N156.8 million was set aside for energy costs, and N273.3 million was allocated to fuel generators.

It went on to demonstrate that N186.6 million will be used for legal services and N271.2 million would be used for security operations carried out by the organization.

It also intends to spend N71.3 million on meals and refreshments, N413.7 million on furnishings and shelves for its headquarters and zonal commands, and N352.1 million on upkeep of the office buildings and residential quarters.
