Nigeria’s Super Falcons have traveled to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, for their FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifying match against Burundi. This is the opening leg of the match.
The match on Sunday will take place in Dar es Salaam at the Azam Sports Complex.
FIFA shifted the match to Tanzania because Burundi was unable to supply a suitable venue for the match.
The opposite match will occur the next weekend at Abuja’s Moshood Abiola Stadium.
The victor of the two legs will advance to the Colombia-hosted U-20 Women’s World Cup in 2024.
The FIFA U-20 World Cup has been attended by West Africans in every edition.
They finished second in both 2010 and 2014.
