FORCE SPOKESPERSON REACTS TO MAN’S CRITICISM OF NIGERIAN POLICE

ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, a spokesman for the Police Force, responded to a user on X who claimed the Nigeria Police Force is worthless.
The guy who posted the message on the X platform said, “Useless police force!”
In response, Adejobi made it clear that the Police Force is a reputable, honorable, accountable, and law-abiding institution rather than a worthless one.

The representative advised the X user to concentrate on bad cops rather than the agency as a whole, saying that it is depressing for individuals to criticize the security establishment as a whole.

He wrote, “The Nigeria Police Force is not a useless organization. Narrow, you anger to those who do bad, to you, (provided you are clean too). We are noble, responsible, decent, and law-abiding individuals. Let’s focus on those who do badly, not the whole agency. It’s discouraging for people to condemn the whole institution as if every police officer is bad and useless. Being bad is a personal thing, not systemic. If everyone is alright, upright, and committed, the system will be ok.”
