FOLLOWING A DEADLY VEHICLE CRASH, TWO ABSU STUDENTS WERE HOSPITALIZED AND THREE STUDENTS DIED.

In a deadly automobile crash that happened on Thursday, March 21, at least three Abia State University (ABSU) students have died.

It was learned that the students from the department of medicine and surgery were traveling from Uturu to Aba to attend their colleagues’ induction ceremony when the unfortunate incident happened.

One student managed to escape unharmed, while two other pupils who suffered serious injuries have been admitted to the hospital.

The names of the deceased have been confirmed as 400-level student Okorie Felix and 500-level medical students Favour Okpanku and Ojike Theophilus.
