The Lagos Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has released a photograph of controversial Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky.
Bobrisky was apprehended at Pinnock Estate in Lagos State on Wednesday, April 3, and imprisoned at the EFCC’s Lagos command office.
The EFCC said on Thursday on its official Instagram page that its operatives had launched an investigation into Bobrisky for allegedly spraying Naira notes.
The statement claims that the 31-year-old transvestite was invited by the EFCC after a video surfaced of her spray-painting and parading wads of fresh Naira notes at the ‘Ajakaju’ movie premiere, which was held on March 24, 2024, at Film One Circle Mall in Lekki, Lagos, and was produced by Nollywood actress Eniola Ajao.
Additionally, additional research showed that Bobrisky had committed the alleged offense at other parties and event venues at different times.
According to the statement, the contentious transvestite showed up for questioning at the EFCC’s Lagos Zonal Command on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, and offered to provide his testimonies after being invited by the Commission.
After the investigations are over, Bobrisky will shortly face charges in court, according to the EFCC.
