Nineteen legislators running on the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket have been formally inaugurated by Gabriel Dewan, the Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly.
The event of swearing-in was held in the state capital of Jos early on Friday morning.
As the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, one of the Jos East members was chosen.
Dewan purportedly used a letter he was given as the source of legitimacy to defend the inauguration.
