TCN and DisCos have been trading blame for failing to achieve their contractual responsibilities.

On Monday, 770MW was transmitted to ten power distribution companies (DisCos).
According to the Load Distribution Profile document, Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company (PHEDC) received zero megawatts.
The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company confirmed the grid failure in a statement posted on its X handle on Monday morning.
The national grid failed on Sunday, plunging the country into darkness.
The development left houses and businesses without power supply for many hours yesterday.
This is the grid’s second collapse in less than a month.
The latest collapse occurred just a week after the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) conducted a controversial review of Band A power consumers’ increased tariffs.
