According to reports, nine people and Malawi’s vice president, Saulos Chilima, were on an airplane that has vanished.
On Monday, June 10, 2024, the Malawi Defense Force aircraft “went off the radar” as it departed the country’s capital, Lilongwe.
Colleen Zamba, the secretary to the president and cabinet, revealed this in a statement.
Chilima was traveling to Mzuzu with the intention of connecting to Nkhata Bay for the funeral of the late former Minister of Justice Ralph Kasambala.
